introduction
Hello, World! Odd Radio Circles is an electronic music project from
Široki Brijeg (Bosnia & Herzegovina), active since 2020.
Exploring much the same sonic territory as Transmissions, from which
the project evolved, Odd Radio Circles blurs the lines between
electronica, ambient, minimalism and drone.
The music is typically built on a foundation of steady beats
supporting layers of synthesizers, augmented by field recordings,
guitars and any other source of sound available. The resulting
atmospheres are evocative and abstract, transporting the listener into
other worlds.
Odd Radio Circles is rooted in nostalgia for the sounds and places of the past while reconstructing them into something out of time.
